Denise McGaha is the founder and principal designer of Denise McGaha Interiors, an award winning residential interior design firm based in Dallas, Texas. For more than twenty-five years, she has created homes across the country that are deeply personal, thoughtfully layered, and designed for everyday living, where beauty and function exist in equal measure.
Long before she became a designer, Denise was shaped by a different kind of classroom: a small Texas ranch. Growing up surrounded by cattle, horses, oak trees, and the changing rhythms of the seasons taught her to appreciate craftsmanship, stewardship, and the quite beauty found in nature. Those early lessons continue to influence every project she designs.
Known for her signature approach to livable luxury, Denise believes the best homes tell the stories of the people who live within them. Drawing inspiration from nature, fashion, travel, and heritage, she creates timeless interiors that feel collected, authentic, and deeply personal. In addition to her design practice, she has collaborated with leading brands on collections of textiles, wallcoverings, furnishings, lighting, and architectural materials inspired by the same enduring philosophy.
When she isn’t designing homes, Denise can often be found at her home in Texas, Flintlock Ranch, caring for animals, spending time with family, and finding fresh inspiration in the landscape that first taught her how to see.
