Just making sure this mic is on!! After a much needed hiatus, I am back to the blog and I couldn’t be happier. We took a break and started a little micro-blogging on other social media platforms, but I miss the blog. I miss giving you all the details behind my projects, new products I have found to “Design with a Deadline”, and more importantly, communicating with all of you here! So without further ado, here’s whats happening now at Denise McGaha Interiors and Designing with a Deadline Blog.
February is the month of love and since I LOVE to travel, that’s just what I will be doing. I am so excited to be joining Modenus next week on BlogTour Germany as we travel to Frankfurt for Ambiente, the gift, home and table top show.
This year, the USA is the partner country for Ambiente and design star Scott Henderson will be curating the pavilion this year. Our itinerary for the trip arrived yesterday and I am over the moon about all we will experience and see. I love that I will be able to see products I have never seen before from over 89 countries and 4700 exhibitors and share them with you. To be honest, I am on the hunt for products from the show that can still be delivered on a timeline. Do you think that’s possible?? I hope I find some super new things you share with you.
I have also heard rumor of a private dinner in a castle with a prince, but that sounds more like a fairytale, doesn’t it?? Stay tuned to see if this fairytale comes true!
You can read more about the other designers and bloggers who are attending over at Modenus blog. This is my first trip ever to Germany and since my heritage is German and English, I am anxious to travel to this beautiful city and learn more about the German culture. In addition to meeting new friends on this trip, I will be traveling with my gal pals Lisa Mende, Courtney Price and Julia Buckingham.

We’ve been known to add a little excitement to previous travel destinations, so I can’t wait to make new memories with these ladies.
It feels good to be back and I will be back here very soon!!
