This week’s Deadline Dilemma comes from a recent project we designed. Our client has an apartment in New York that is used during business trips there. While this is a rental used mainly for business, our client wants to make a few updates and complete them very quickly.

On a project like this, time is of the essence. With a one day trip to establish the project scope, shop for solutions and present those to the client, time is tight.
Enter DESIGNED IN A DAY. At DMI, we deliver projects quickly, even if they are 1500 miles away. For this project, we were able to measure the space and review styles and potential floor plans with the client. We then went shopping for the afternoon and made selections for the furnishings. It was important that any selections made could be delivered within 4-6 weeks. We found the perfect pieces and were even able to customize upholstery sizes for our client.
