I never stopped loving him. Even when he fell out of favor with everyone else. Those shining smiles across the room. That warm glow…..yes my friends, BRASS IS BACK!
My bag has just landed in the entryway and I couldn’t wait to unpack the laptop and pen this post. I have had more inspiration than a girl deserves on my trip to High Point. Don’t forget that most of these are also available on a deadline.
Just so you know how I feel – here is what has me so very inspired for gold and brass finishes:
The Micah Sconce from Visual Comfort
Brass Cocktail Table from Nancy Price for Design Legacy
Gold plated shell from Dessau Home
Recycled Lids from Oil Drums by Phillips Collection
Brass and Black Glass Chest from Bernhardt Interiors
Nefret Chair from Currey and Co.
Brass Handled Chest from Emerson Et Cie
See what I mean? Do you love brass as much as I do, or are you scarred from the early 90’s shiny version. If you are – take note. All of these finishes are burnished or aged brass with a warm glow. No shine here.
I am ready to install new brass door hardware on the interior doors of my home and I am so excited to see this trend in High Point too!
