There have been so many great technologies introduced lately with regards to color. I wanted to share them all in one post so you can bookmark this page for your projects:
Rooms by Color – This section of their site allows you to choose a color family and see a room painted in that color scheme. Great for the person who has a hard time envisioning how a dark or light shade of a particular color looks on the wall.
Personal Color Viewer – This great tool allows you to paint a room or the exterior of your home virtually. You just uplaod a photo of the interior or exterior you are painting and then apply the paint color virutally. Technology is so great!!
Lisa says, “All you have to do to start “chipping” is drag and drop “chip it” bookmarklet to your tool bar. Once “chip it” is activated, it turns blue and you are ready to go. Next, choose a picture, hover over it and click”chip it”. It will then give you a palette of suggested Sherwin Williams colors that closest match those in the picture. It’s really that simple!”
There are many other great techonology tools related to color and if you have a favorite, share it here so I can let everyone know!
P.S. – Just a reminder that we are still in the Olioboard Competition and I need your support.
We have lost ground this week and I need daily votes to stay in the game. I need your help friends and readers, so please go vote today and this weekend. I will register every vote in a drawing to win Amanda Nisbet’s new book!!
