Green fabrics and wallpaper….they aren’t all colored green….
Yesterday, paint; today, fabrics and wallpaper. So, if you don’t tell your designer you want to use “green” products, they will never know. And, if you are a designer, and you don’t ask your clients, you will never know. See a theme here? Did you even know they existed? Do you know why you might want to use them? If not, here goes…
Some of my favorite go-to’s in eco-friendly fabrics and wallpapers are:
KRAVET – This new collection, called Kravet Green, is made from 100% recycled polyester, blended from post industrial and post-consumer fibers. The fabrics are not treated with chemicals, and they are produced using water -based products and environmentally friendly dyes. Cool, huh?
ROBERT ALLEN – Same goodies here too…though I must say that these images do not do their fabric selection justice.
THIBAUT – Love their environmentally friendly designs!
Who knew being “green” could be so fashionable…and easy?
