I have been working on a residential project for the past nine months and this gorgeous contemporary home will be the new residence for my long-time clients.  This couple loves unique and one-of-a-kind art and have given me great freedom in designing their home.  This is our fifth or sixth project together and we know each other very well.

When designing the lighting for their home, I turned to Urban Electric Co. for many of the pieces in their home.  The fixtures I selected from UECo. mix so well with the vintage chandeliers I purchased along the way, too.

UECo. also has a quick ship program and for a lady like me, who designs luxury projects on a deadline…..music to my ears.  I love how they also have two levels of quick ship…..quick and quicker!!  Under 8 weeks, and 4 days or less.  BAM!!  Need I say more….actually yes.

Urban Electric Co is celebrating it’s 10th year in business and to celebrate this occasion, have introduced a 10th Anniversary Collection.  In the beginning…….waaaaaaay back in 2003 I specified their outdoor fixtures on clients’ projects.  Today, they offer me a great range of interior fixtures as well and when I saw their new collection, I wanted to share it here.

Lanterns make up a large portion of the styles I specify for clients.  UECo must agree and here are the lanterns designed with outside design collaborators for the anniversary:
