My Curated Kravet Room

I’ve been keeping a little secret and now that it’s out on Social Media I wanted to give you all the scoop!!

I was so excited to hear that Kravet had plans to launch a Ready-To-Ship Upholstery Collection.  I was even more delighted when they asked me to curate rooms using these upholstery pieces and many of the pillows I designed for their Ready-To-Ship line.

There are several views of the space and developing a look that represented my style using these pieces was a piece of cake.  The fabrics on each piece are incredibly versatile and will be so easy to use in each of my projects.  The best part is that they are sitting on a shelf and ready to ship to my Dallas receiver.  NO ONE ELSE HAS THIS!!!

Every upholstered piece in every image in this post is ready to go.  Same for the accessories, the art, the pillows, the lamps, the tables….all of it!!  That’s an incredible feat and I have been waiting 5 years for this to happen in our industry.

Imagine that you get a call needing an entire space completed in 3 weeks.  Now that’s possible from a trade source in the high quality that you give all of your other projects that are delivered in several months.

Everyday I  design projects on a deadline.  I get calls from executives moving to town, from divorcee’s needing an immediately filled apartment, from sports figures moving to Dallas to play for one of our many sports teams and even military officers who are retiring and coming back from the Middle East.  They, along with my clients who want immediate gratification, want a luxury look NOW.  Now it’s possible through Kravet and CuratedKravet.  The rugs shown are also from their Ready-To-Ship items on their website.  Beautiful, no?

Take a minute to listen to Cary Kravet and his reason for launching this collection HERE.  (Thanks for pronouncing my name for the whole world Cary…..its always a mystery and you have cleared it up now!)

I also loved the design board created to let everyone get to know me a little better as a Kravet curator.

The team at Kravet was great to work with, the photoshoot was fast, furious and completed in 8 hours……talk about designing with a deadline!!  When I arrived the studio had wallpaper and when I left for the airport the same day, our images were shot and the looks you see here were complete.  And Nate Berkus had just been there… exciting!

So let me know what you think?  Would you use these items in your projects, designers?  I want to hear from you and so does Kravet!  SHOP HERE and give me your thoughts and take advantage of their 10% Holiday Discount too using code GIVETHNKS10.

As part of the Brizo Blogger19 family, I have been a behind-the-scenes member of an exclusive group of designers and bloggers for Brizo for a few years now.  This means many things, including insight into new products they are considering and are also planning to launch.  Imagine my delight when these beautiful designs landed in my inbox by many of my designer friends.  Take a moment to see the beauty that is Brizo and see it come to life here in the vignettes designed by Christian, Donna , Richard and Jonathan.

Brizo is excited to share two new kitchen and bath offerings:

  • Solna Articulating Kitchen Faucet
  • Rook Bath Collection

Brizo has teamed up with fellow Blogger19 alumni and asked them to conceptualize four unique spaces in order to showcase these new product offerings.  I think you’ll agree that these vignettes are stunning and Brizo has created two fabulous new collections.

I am so excited for my friend, Scot Meacham Wood.  He has worked so hard and is launching his new luxury lifestyle brand Scot Meacham Wood Home.

Denise and Scot

Inspired by his love of the Scottish countryside, Scot has curated a unique, one-of-a-kind line of furnishings, textiles, accessories and upholstered pieces.  Scot’s line of textiles is rich in color and includes more than 50 fabrics to choose from.  He loves tartan plaid – it’s his signature, and when you see a room designed by Scot, you’ll know his look instantly!  As he says, “Tartan is the new black.”  Below is his “Meacham Tartan”…it’s bold and colorful, just like Scot. He also offers luxurious custom dyed trims and fringes to add the perfect details to any project.

Scot incorporates antiques into his design, which I love, and he has a fabulous line of antiques and unique treasures to add character and personality to any room.
