I arrived in High Point yesterday afternoon and last night I had the opportunity to tour the new Currey & Co. showroom space. It took me over an hour to walk through the space…..all the while, my mouth gaping open. It’s. Just. That. Good!! This is the magnolia leaf wall in the garden room…..beyond beautiful!
Yes, I’m the brand ambassador for Currey & Co. And yes, I’ve been sent sneak peeks along the way, so I thought I knew what I would be seeing. I was wrong. The new furniture is so good….
And now you can shop it on the Currey App……get yours HERE.
I also curated my favorite lamps and chandeliers below::
And then there are the wall sconces that I use in every bathroom and hallway I design::
In the past, you had to walk the showroom several times to see everything and make sure you didn’t miss a thing. In the newly expanded space, it’s even more necessary to make sure you book enough time in your schedule to see it all. There are also three bars and eating areas, so you will be able to enjoy the hospitality that Currey is known for throughout the showroom. They installed a large commercial kitchen so their team would be able to serve every event with on-site catering. The fabulous Anna will be on hand to make sure every detail is perfect and I hear rumor that THE Robert Currey will be doing a live cooking demonstration of his famous Sparta Mushrooms with his standard-poodle-assistant Rives.
I hope you are all as excited as I was to tour the new space and that I will see you there. There are several events over the next week where you can drop by to shop for lighting, upholstery and have organic nibbles while you are there.
AND….I almost forgot to mention the Potterton Books Popup with out of print and antique books from jewellery, design and architecture. If you love books, you can’t miss this chance to add to your library. The selection is amazing and I had to pull myself away to keep from spending ALL of my money!!
